How to Choose a Lymphatic Drainage Supplement
Share
Search for a lymphatic supplement and you'll find hundreds. Here's how to compare them sensibly.
1. Read the ingredient list, not the headline
The front of the bottle is marketing. The back tells you what's actually in it. Look for named botanicals with their Latin names, so you know exactly which plant you're getting.
2. Check the serving size
Two products can list the same herbs at very different strengths. Compare the amount per serving and how many servings you get, then work out the cost per day rather than per bottle.
3. Be wary of big promises
In the UK, food supplements can't legally claim to treat, prevent or cure anything. A brand promising dramatic results in days is either breaking those rules or hoping you won't check. That tells you something about how carefully they run the rest of the business.
4. Look at the format
Liquid drops, capsules and powders all work as formats. Pick the one you'll actually keep up with, since consistency matters more than the delivery method.
5. Check the guarantee and the contact details
A real refund policy, a working email address and a company name on the website are basic signs of a business that will still be there if something goes wrong.
6. Ask your pharmacist if you take medication
Herbal extracts can interact with prescription medicines. A pharmacist will check for free.
